Les Gracieuses Modernes (LGM) was founded in 1986 by Rudy van Ginkel in Germany as an exclusive international community with the view to bring together like-minded people. People inspired by the wasp waist and hourglass figure of the female form as created by the corset. Each year LGM has held a formal Ball to celebrate the wasp waist and honour some of the most influential people in "corset culture". |
